Provincials Update: Day One (Wednesday, January 30, 2019)

Posted 1/31/2019

We would like to thank everyone that has supported this event and please be sure to check out the Sponsor page as well. We couldn't have done any of this without their generosity.

Several of you commented about the pixellation of the videos from Ice D on Facebook Live. We apologize for the issues broadcasting opening ceremonies and we have a technician from the internet service provider looking at solutions. This seems to be a regional issue, but we are doing our best to improve the quality as much as we can so that friends, families, and fans can watch from home when they can't be at the event. Thank you so much for your patience as we resolve this matter.

The uploading issues also briefly kept the scores from loading quickly on the NOCA website. We resolved this issue and all scores can be found on the NOCA Scoreboard. If for some reason they are not appearing, we will post unofficial scoring on the website and social media so that everyone has access. If you notice an issue that needs to be addressed, please contact us through info@nipigoncurlingclub.ca and we will address it immediately.

The teams and sponsors gathered for a mixer last night in the Brier Patch for good food and some fun and Thursday morning begins at 10am with Beaudry- Enge (Ice A), McCarville-Brunton (Ice B) for the Ladies, and Gordon-Bonot (Ice C) and Chandler- Montpellier (Ice D) for Mens.

December 2018 News

Posted 12/12/2018

The organizers for the Championships have been hard at work preparing for January. We are still in need of volunteers, especially certified umpires. We also have a loonie auction for the RRIB Youth Travel Group and the popular "Anything Goes" for the Christmas holiday. For more information check out our Events page or email Nipigon Curling Club and we'll get back to you with more information.
